Amy had 13 tattoos. All mainly inspired by sailor/50’s body art, just like her husband at the time Blake Fielder Civil. Amy’s body had grown since her Frank days and was visible to the public eye when her album for Back to black started to promo around the world. Amy’s Tattoo’s helped to identify her style and added to her personality.

the Ankh symboliss immortality in egyptian mythology and the flag was because of her mother being born in Brooklyn , NYC.
50’s sailor tattoo of an anchor with the words “hello sailor” - the words were personal as her nickname for Blake, he called her mermaid.
Top of Breast:
Amy had a tattoo for her love of Blake with a picture of a pocket with his name above it.
Inside of Left Arm:
There was a picture of a feather apparently to represent bravery and courage. This was one of Amy’s first permanent tattoos.
on the inside of Amy’s right wrist there is a lightning bolt:

just above Amy’s lightning bolt tattoo, there is a picture of a bird with two musical notes and the words “Never Clip My Wings” - there are rumours that the bird was Amy’s memory of her bird called Ava that died. The Tattoo is the symbol of The Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity set up by her mother and father, following her death.
on the upper right arm:
there are two pin up girls, one with a fan and one called Cynthia , a tattoo for her Grandmother who played a big part in her life. There are also 2 hearts placed above the Cynthia tattoo.
Top of left Arm:
Horseshoe centred with the Word’s “Daddy’s Girl”.
Further down on the Left Arm:
Bare-chested pin up girl, perhaps in the style of Bridget Bardot. When on Television or making appearances, Amy was made to cover the Girl up, Drawing a bra onto the Tattoo in Marker or pen.
